DEATH: death year of Jacob Lemon obtained from his will in Botetourt Co. will, index page 229, Book G pages 563-564. Death date also obtained from court affidavit at Botetourt on May 2,1855.Jacob is buried in Lemon Cemetery, east of Rt. 220, Lick Run Community, Botetourt Co., Virginia which gives date of birth May 1763 and death date of November 1848.

BIRTH: birth year of 1762 for Jacob Lemon given in Rev. War Declaration dated June 1832 at Botetourt Co. obtained from "Virginia Militia in the Rev. War" pagae 116, section #118. Also Census of Botetourt Co, VA for 1840 on page 41 lists Jacob Lemon age 77.
