Information on these Swiss lines was obtained from the parish registers in thes
communities. On September 28, 1918 Hyrum Stutznegger was killed in World War I
just 6 weeks before the war was over. He had life insurance and the proceeds
were used to hire Julius Billiter, an accomplished genealogist, to travel to
Switzerland to do this research for these lines and for other families also.
Hyrum was a brother to Katharina Barbara Stutznegger who married Hyrum Denison.
