The Thomas Vail book on p. 172 mentions that Stephen Moore was of Brigehampton, Long Island, New York. On the same page it also mentions that when he died, hi widow, Eunice Ford married 2nd John Scott (from Comb. Reg's. of Morristown, N.J. page 165) Also on page 172 it states that Eunice Ford died on 8 Mar 1802 (New Jersey Archives 2nd Series 8:275) or possibly on the 8 Mar 1808 (The Rev. John Moore and a few of his descendants) Samuel Ford's birthdate of 12 Apr 1705 is from the Comb'd Reg's of Morristown, N.J.. Crayon's Rockaway Records (NJ) page 91 lists his birth as 11 Oct 1710. More research is needed to prove which is correct and also to verify his parents.
